Voyage en Afrique

Toukoul is not only one of Brussels' greatest and most surprising restaurants, it is also considered as a cultural house. Indeed, on weekend evenings, Toukoul offers nice concerts that goes with an exotic and authentic African setting. At Toukoul, you won't use forks and knives but the 'injera' (a pancake made of tef), to eat the delicious and spicy Ethiopian dishes. Workers are happy to server you, allways with a great smile! It is well located in the center of the city in the quite area of the Beguinage on the rue des Marroniers. On weekends you better book a table, the restaurant is extremely popular in Brussels. The bar has a nice selection of wine and some beers. You can also try some typical Ethiopian drinks like the T'edj (mead) and the Katikala (orange liqueur). On Sunday and Monday evenings you participate to a mysterious coffee ceremony...
